If you would like to have a specific image created, Hyla will be happy to work with you. Beyond that, she has frequently been retained to photograph valuable family heirlooms, so that various family members are able to enjoy the treasure, rather than have it hidden away in a bank or trunk.

Event Photography

Planning a special family gathering, a business function or a child's birthday party? Think about having it documented by a professional photographer. Hyla, depending on availability, would be interested in talking to you about just such an assignment.

Prints

Most of the images on this site, plus hundreds more, may be purchased. Professional labs are used and work can be printed in various sizes, on many types of papers or canvas. Cost depends upon selection.

As well, images can be purchased with or without frames. If you prefer to choose your own frame, work is available on mattes. This is ideal for mailing purposes.

By far, the most popular images are those printed on canvas and stretched onto a wide, wooden brace. Archival pigment inks are used. Limited edition prints come with a certificate of authenticity.

Product Photography: Traditional & Stylized

Photographic Greeting Cards

Along with large images, Hyla offers an extensive line of photographic greeting cards, covering a variety of themes such as holidays, the seasons, landscapes, trees, flowers, music (especially jazz) food, antiques & collectibles and the Beach area of Toronto.

Cards are white or beige, (depending on availability) acid free, blank inside and measure 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. Each boasts an original 4 by 6 inches photograph that is hand signed on the front cover, just under the image. Envelopes are included.

If you don't see an image or theme illustrated here, please contact Hyla since she adds images on a weekly basis. Currently her image base numbers in the thousands. Just ask about a special interest.

Cards are priced at $6 each. Multiples of at least 5 cards must be ordered of one image, if images are to be mailed. Postage and packaging is additional. For wholesale orders, please contact Hyla directly.

Magnets

In the last year, Hyla has developed a line of fridge art magnets. Sizes range from 3 1/2 by 2 inches to 4 by 6 inches. Prices, are either $5 or $10, depending on size, although large orders in either size, will lower the prices. Again for questions, please contact Hyla directly.

Planning an Antique Busman's Holiday in Toronto and/or around Ontario?

In the antique arena Hyla will be pleased to serve as your virtual antique tour guide. She will prepare a list of events, exhibits, shows/sales, shops and attractions—to complement your personal passions—for the time you plan to be in the area. All information will come with addresses, dates, times and directions.
